Shareholder Oppression Matter

Experience Counts® was engaged to assist legal counsel  in a Supreme Court of Victoria matter claiming oppressive, prejudicial and discriminatory actions by other shareholders.

Analysis was provided in respect of changing levels of remuneration paid to other directors, personal expenses paid by corporate credit cards and other dubious transactions.

Advice was also provided in respect of  various valuations of the business:

1.prepared when shares were earlier sold between shareholders;

2.commissioned by the various disputing parties, and by

3.court-appointed valuers.

After protracted negotiations, a satisfactory outcome resulted.
